I'm a little bit confused why a conference in California has been brought forward under this post title for Canada. I see there is another post for this same CFC in California.

The good news is that there IS a Catholic conference in Canada, in the west. The 17th Annual Catholic Family Conference at Lac Ste. Anne, Alberta, is scheduled for next weekend, June 29-July 2 ( (http://www.catholicfamilyministries...._April2012.pdf).

This year's conference is entitled: "The Beauty, the Truth, and the Challenge". The main guest speaker is Dr. Marcellino D'Ambrosio (well-known from his presence on EWTN and with Relevant Radio), with other guest speakers and youth speakers/ministry. The whole family will find something here that edifies Faith, family life, vocations; daily Mass and 24-hour adoration; Catholic vendors; Fr. Terry Kraychuk (Eastern Rite); coffee house for young adults; sometimes we get a CatChat concert, too! This is a camping weekend with lots of open space and fresh air, and very kid-friendly (How many of those large-family vans can congregate in one place? Come and see!). We see licence plates from Alberta, BC, Sask., and Manitoba, and sometimes Ontario and the States. Our family looks forward to attending when we can. The organizers have been faithful in this work for many years, and we are grateful.
