I am new to Catholic Answers and am searching to connect. I struggled with addiction for a very long time. I recently started recovery after causing a lot of wreckage in my life. The damage was to God, my family, and work. I am all in with AA in my community and have a great sponsor. I came to this site searching for a reconnection with my faith. I am within my 1st 30 days and recognize I struggle with surrender and control. I am searching for answers with my prayer life. I am doing a lot of reading but I feel like I'm spinning my wheels. I have a bunch of questions but will start there. I want meaningful prayer so anyone who can help thanks.
