This whole Vatileaks scandal and everything going around is just unnerving for me. What happen to the Catholic CHURCH you know the religion aimed at giving TRUTH. It seems slowly over her two thousand year old history she had gone from a religion to spread truth (through the apostles and Paul etc) and concerned with saving souls to a political organization (not that a religious organization can't be involved in politics but that is how it should be a RELIGIOUS organization in politics NOT a POLITICAL organization in religion).

So how does this relate to the vatileaks scandal, in the end ask yourself this why does the church keep secrets, if they hold the truth it should be known not hidden and if it is lies then it has no place in the first place. Why isn't that the Vatican won't be transparent about it's financials and why does it try to lobby politicians for moral laws, telling people how to live instead of lobbing the people for social change telling the politicians what they want.

When religion gets mixed in politics as the church has it be comes corrupt, as a saying goes "all lawyers are in hell, all politicians bring it to earth". Lawyers bring loopholes to moral ideas and politicians instill them in law so why would an organization that should be saving souls even want to go near these people. It was Satan that made the observation the Jesus was human and so let his pride lead him, it was Micheal however who called him Lord. Satan looked for the reason to rebel Micheal looked for the reason to serve just as a politician or lawyer tries to find a way out of legal issues Satan did too and just as others look for reason to do good and serve so did Micheal.

In the end the Vatican requires the protection given to it as a country because it is concerned with politics and lies and no longer morals and truth. It is a sad state of affairs and I applaud the valet for at least trying to shed light on the secrets the Vatican keeps.

Just to let you know, The church isn't the product of her political affairs, and the pharisees of Jesus day were doing the same thing, it does not change the fact that the God of the Jews was faithful, your looking at the wrong places to see the marks of God in the catholic church. God bless.

Your right I'm not finding god in the political sphere the church participates into. The reason I applaud the Vatican valet is his actions help bring transparency and divulge these secrets that shouldn't be (I find it unnerving I am using political terms such as transparency for an organization that is suppose to be religious just goes to show how much of a political organization they are)

The hierarchy isn't the Church. It is easy these days to confuse the two. This is why pilgrims over Europe flocked to Rome in 1500 even though Alexander VI was Pope. There have been many men in the hierarchy who have been scoundrels or worse.

I am sure that the Holy Father has already forgiven him. I imagine that our Holy Father is very quick to forgive.
