Cool TEENS (March 2006 Thread)

Fellow teens!

Here's our brand new Teen Thread for March but I don't know how busy it'll be as quite a few have given up the Forums for Lent.

What have you given up for Lent?

HAPPY ASH WEDNESDAY!

Soda... snacking between meals... complaining about homework...

It will be intersting! Happy Holy Lent!

Laura

A special hi for my secret prayer buddy!

March Huh? Coolness. Meh... I hate being sick!!! =(

On top of that, I can't attend mass today, because I'm quite contagious...

And I can't sleep... Can't lay down because I'm too sweaty...

I havn't given up anything, instead, I have vowed to follow my role models more thoroughly, one of them being Blessed Mother Teresa, in opening my arms to the outcasts of society, and extending love to all.

With Love (see I am already suceeding )

I've decided to give up television, music, and sweets. I also set a rule for myself that I have to say one Rosary for every half hour I spend playing video games. That way, I'll end up praying more!

God Bless!

I didn't really give up anything. I'm going to try and read the bible as often as I can, and I joined this Cathloic Catechism study group called "Why Catholic". It sounded interesting. I'm also going to pray the Devine Mercy Chaplet every night. I wanted to give up something too, but I can't think of anything...

I gave up youth group tonight to go to Ash Wednesday Mass...I wasn't really planning to not go to it. I forgot that youth group was today. I wasn't very happy about that.

For Lent I gave up pop. And also i'm going to start praying more, excersizing more, and trying to give up talking on the phone as much as I do.
