I am. My DD was supposed to wear something green to daycare but she doesn't have any green clothes so I tie-dyed a shirt for her the other day. I put her up in pigtails too. On the way to town this morning, I taught her to say "Hippie"

She's so precious.

Green sweats that say Ireland and have the Trinity Symbol on them along w/ green socks....
Quote:
Trinity Symbol: The Trinity Symbol is an ancient Celtic design.

The Trinity emblem is an ancient symbol for a high spiritual dignity. In the Christian faith, it represents the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Trinity symbol has been inscribed in stone, and also has been colored. Red for power, faith, language and sacrifice. Blue -represents faith and trust. Green –color of the plants and trees, suggests hope of life eternal.

Wearing green, reading about Saint Patrick and talking about the Trinity. Possibly going to Stations of the Cross tonight.

And, yes, I will also be eating Corned beef. Something I have done for as long as I can remember.

I love Saint Patricks Day. It is a time for me to talk about my Grandfather. Look up where he was born. And do things that would have made him happy.

Oh, yeah. I had to make sure and wash my green sweater yesterday though as I had worn it earlier in the week and as always, I got some food on it

I am also wearing a green shamrock pin I got from Avon.

Wearing all black today as a protest of how the US celebrates St. Patrick's day. It is not a reason to get drunk.

Proudly wearing o' the green! Do you know why we Irish wear the green? Because we were forbidden to by the English (as the Shamrock was used by St. Patrick to explain the Holy Trinity). Struggling against tyranny and persecution, the Irish always found a way to proclaim the Catholic Faith and green is the color adopted for the country and Irish Freedom.
