Has anyone baught this mag, is it good?

Of course its good. Why don't you give the customer service dept a call at 888-291-8000 and request a copy to take a look at.

This Rock is good, but I believe it tends to be more theologically intense. I like Envoy and Lay Witness also.

My budget only allows me one magazine subscription. My choice is This Rock. I read it cover to cover every month.

I subscribe to both This Rock and Envoy. They are excellent magazines, and I agree with the observation that This Rock is more theologically intense. It is an excellent publication, and I doubt I'll ever let my subscription lapse!

I like This Rock mag...Envoy, also...even Catholic Digest.. 
Has anyone read the articles in This rock by Russ Ford?
I know they are about prison ministry.

Patrick Madrid gave me some free Envoy magazines last year. While I will stay faithful to This Rock, I have to say that Envoy was funnier. (Sorry Karl)

I am blessed enough, through the generosity of a friend, to have almost every back issue of This Rock Magazine published (even some of the original Catholic Answers newsletters). It is amazing how timely and useful even the old articles still are.
On a related note, I heard that the back issues would soon be archived and available on-line like Envoy does. Anyone have an update on this?
