I'm a seminarian!
I just recieved word that that archdiocese of Portland is accepting me as a seminarian. Yay! Prayers much appreciated!

This is my first message! 
Congrats on your acceptance into Portland! I live in just 25 miles south of Portland. If you go up to Mt. Angel it is just a wonderful! A very scenic area as well.
My husband and I are new to the church and will start RCIA in July.
Congratulations on your acceptance. I wish you a great future!

Pray always that you may follow your vocation faithfully and that through you, God draws lost souls to Himself. The priesthood is an awesome calling and rest assured you will have the prayers of countless people here on earth- and the constant prayers of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and all the angels and saints.

Congrats!
I have been considering the priesthood for awhile (not really sure ), I think I may visit a seminary this summer just to check things out and mabe get a better sense if this is what He is calling me to or not.

There's a perpetual prayer thread here for priests and seminarians - perhaps let them know you've been accepted so that their prayers can lift you up in your calling.
