Default CAF Addicts

Hi. My name is valient Lucy, and I am a CAF addict.
My addiction started innocently enough. Soon I stopped studying, eating, and showering in favor of reading and posting online.
The full scope of my addiction became clear when the forums shut down. I went into full scale withdrawl, with shaking, vomiting, and dizziness. I ended up in rehab to help me detox.
Of course, now that the forums are up again, I can get my fix.
JK.

Lucy,

You are not alone. Many of us spent several thousand dollars on therapy while the forums were down. It was very traumatic. Just talk it out with us. Perhaps we can pass along some tips if this ever happens again.

I feel with all of y'all ... I myself found other forums to serve as focal points for my addictive personality, needless to say they were poor substitutes for my drug of choice, CAF

I went to (O the embarrassment!) http://www.oceangram.com/ where you wait on a virtual shore for a message in a bottle. You can reply or start a new one.

I spent time at my other (strange) addiction - the message board at www.felinediabetes.com !!! (I have a diabetic cat!)

But I really know this is my true home. It looks all jazzed up, too, since i was here last!

I posted on the religious forums on myspace. They aren't very good at debating though. Whenever someone disagreed with me (most did - go figure?) they mostly called me a variety of foul, four letter type names.

Needless to say, it was depressing. It made me appreciate the posters here - even the ones I disagree with. Not to mention the Mods who keep us under control. (Love you guys! )

I spent more time in my nation at www.nationstates.net . We have our own Catholic Answers Region there. We even had a real live troll!

What would a good forum do without a real live troll... That must have made you feel at home.
