Default Catholic Game: How many paths to Jesus are there?

Hi,

I usually don't post to The Water Cooler, so please forgive me if I'm breaching protocol or repeating a prior thread.

But I want to try an experiment. I am curious about just how many pathways to Jesus we can name. Would you like to give it a shot?

To qualify, the pathway must be a type of devotion or regular practice and must be sanctioned by the Catholic Church. I respect and appreciate the practices of other faiths but want to deal with one religion at a time for now.

Please list only one pathway per post. That way we can get an accurate count by looking at the length of the thread.

I will give two to start, one in this post and one in a follow-up:

1.) Devotion to the Blessed Mother, who always points the way to Christ.

Thank you.

I thought this was some sort of trick question, so I was going to say 1.

I'll bite - frequent and devoted attendance at Mass and frequent reception of the Sacraments of Confession and the Eucharist

I presume you mean St Therese of Lisieux's Little Way as opposed to 'The Way' of St Josemaria Escriva (which I guess could be #5)
