Default Prayer!!!

I am in dire need of prayer. I've had some news from my sister Kerry, she rang from Sheffield England, to tell us that after our dad died in April, her ex boyfriend Ian, beat her again, this time so badly that it threatened her life!

She said she wants to get away but is so confused and afraid, she can't seem to find her / the way.

Will you please remember her in your prayers.

With much appreciation,
Terry Paul

I will hold her up in prayer that the Lord God guide her out of this situation and that he will send His angels to protect her.

It's so hard to hear that someone we love is in an abusive relationship; the only way we can actively help them is to pray. Of course, continue to suggest counseling for her. There are counselors and groups that specialize in domestic violence, which is more common than any of us would like to think. But the very difficult choice to leave the relationship is up to her alone. I will certainly pray for Kerry, and for peace of mind for you.

Terry Paul,

Please tell your sister to get as far away from this guy as she can. Tell her to call the police and find a shelter for now, until other arrangements can be made. He WILL do it again and she may not be as fortunate next time. A woman I know almost lost her daughter to a woman beater. This guy beat and choked her so bad she almost died. Please tell her not to believe him, no matter how much he apologizes and swears he will never do it again. Although, I am quite sure that he blames her when he is doing it. There is more I would like to say, but I am in a hurry right now.

I am praying very hard for Kerry.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and in the hour of our death. Amen.

Gracious and loving Lord, grant Kerry the strength to know Your Divine Will for her life. May she repent of any and all sin, turn to You for help in her trial, and act upon Your Heavenly counsel. May greater good come from this evil, that love will triumph and Satan and his minions be scattered and defeated. Heal Kerry's spirit that she may be made new again, as Your Blessed Son makes all things new in Him. Look with mercy and love upon her abuser, that he may come to his senses, horrified at his sin, and repent to the depths of his soul. O Divine Healer, everything upon this earth obeys Your command. We lift these two up to You, begging that You graciously incline Your ear to hear our pleas. Set this horrible occurrence right, that all may praise and glorify Your Holy Name. We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen.
