Most of my work during the day is monitoring performance of our many database servers. All "real" work is done after market hours. SO, there is time to "goof off" during the business day.

8 hours a day. The (i/I)nternet *IS* my job. Here it is!

I just make sure everything runs smoothly in the background (HTML and C# code, as well as basic database maintainence - i.e., Microsoft-"overly-glorified" CMS system, which MS made more complicated than it really needs to be). Granted, than there's web applications (3rd party, and in-house), and internal MS Access applications.

None, I'm one of the unlucky ones who doesn't have to use a computer for day to day business! So, no CAF for me on the clock!

Even if I wanted to log onto CAF at work (or any other religion site), I can't. Since it's a state job, religious sites have to be blocked. I saw it in the blocked list...

I spend almost all of my time goofing off on the internet. The first 1/2 hr. or so I spend telling customers we can't fill thier order and I refer them to another company. That pretty much wipes out any annoying follow ups and of course frees up my time filling orders and stuff. We do get two 15 min. coffee breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.....I do drink coffee in the morning but in the afternoon I usually go around the corner to the bar and slam down a few shots of Jack Daniels. We also get 1/2 hr. for lunch. I do the Jack Daniels thing there too! I really like playing games on the puter but do also like posting on fourms and also visiting chat rooms while at work....The first year or so I thought I would get caught and get in trouble....but the years pass and I am still here
