Default New game: "It's obvious that..."

(for a lack of a better title... more like "It's not what you think")
In this game, the first poster makes a question, and the next person responds with "It's obvious that...", only with a twist. Instead of stating the obvious, they state a silly answer. Then they ask a question.

i.e.:

Post 1:

"Why is the sky blue?"

Post 2:

Well, it's obvious that someone painted it blue!

"Why do dogs chase their tails?"

Post 3:

Well, it's obvious that someone put food on their tail!

Ok, I'll start.

"Why are bear cubs so cute?"

I'm slain!

Well, it is obvious that any sentence that begins with, "Well, it's obvious that..." is either spoken by a mathematician or a smart aleck. And nobody wants to be a mathematician!

Why did they kill off my favorite character in ER several years ago?

Well it's obvious he did it purely for the fame, knowing that he'd be part of a joke that's repeated over & over again.

Well it's obvious that baby has carefully calculated the exact time when Mom is getting her most refreshing sleep phase going.

Why does food look so different in pictures in magazines and cookbooks than it does when one *coff coff* cooks exactly the same recipe at home?

EDIT - Why did carol change her question?
