Re: QUIZ: Which Scottish Theologian are you?
Strange, it didn't post the table for my results. I scored St. Augustine, which is funny because I haven't read a single thing by this saint. Perhaps I should wade into the thick of his writing?

Re: QUIZ: Which Scottish Theologian are you?
James Orr - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Orr_(theologian)
Thomas Boston - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Boston
Paul Tillich - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Tillich
That should help a bit
Orr was one of the authors of the series of books called the Fundamentals, written about a century ago (hence the name "Fundamentalist")
Thomas Boston is one of the most prominent Scottish Puritans - he is still read today
Tillich I know only as an American Protestant theologian of the post-War period - actually, he was not originally from the US at all
Wikipedia can be very informative ##

Re: QUIZ: Which Scottish Theologian are you?
All I found out is that I'm definitely NOT John Knox - actually got asked a tiebreaker question, so sounds like it was really close.

James Orr 60%
James Denney 60%
Thomas Boston 55%
Thomas Chalmers 55%
John Knox 15% '
'Which theologian are you?' results:
You scored as Augustine (Yay, love 'im!)
You have a big view of God and also take human sin and depravity very seriously. Predestination is important for you.
Augustine 87%
Karl Barth 73%
Anselm 67%
J?Moltmann 53%
Friedrich Schleiermacher 53%
John Calvin 53%
Jonathan Edwards 47%

I am Thomas Boston (90%). I'll have to do a websearch on him because I never heard of him. My lowest score was John Knox.

You scored as Anselm. Anselm is the outstanding theologian of the medieval period. He sees man's primary problem as having failed to render unto God what we owe him, so God becomes man in Christ and gives God what he is due. You should read 'Cur Deus Homo?'

Charles Finney 60%
Martin Luther 53%
Jonathan Edwards 53%

hmmm I never even heard of Anslem!
