I did some spinning and toning yesterday. Today, my plan is an hour of steady state cardio.

Well, I'm feeling much better, and I'm running again. Yesterday I ran 2 miles on the treadmill, and did the same today. It feels good to be back in the groove again. My goal is to run 5 days this week.

Anyone else working out besides me and Autumn?

If you count walking almost 9 miles....I am ! The weather was none too cooperative yesterday, so I celebrated my birthday by not walking as much as I would have preferred.

Yesterday was very windy, so I didn't run, but I ran today. So I need to run tomorrow and Saturday to meet my goal for the week.

Hey, Sharon, are you back into it yet? You're my inspiration!

Well, I managed to get in just under 12 miles walking yesterday. Our hospital is preparing for a move to the new place and the boss has me running all over creation. Boy was I tired!! Except that I was too tired to sleep!!

Kathy, I can't believe how much you walk! That's incredible. What a great workout. Good job. I bet you'll sleep like a baby tonight.

I overslept this morning, so I was going to skip my run. Then I realized that if I skipped my run today, I wouldn't meet my goal, and I'd never be able to face my support group here. So I got up and went out for my 2 mile run. Thanks, everyone, for keeping me motivated. This is such a great group.

(I wonder how Courage is doing)

I walk so much because I don't drive. Today I managed a paltry 8 miles.....it's either feast or famine.

Hey kids!!

Did you miss me? Here I am in Alabama. Michael, you were right... I have web access in my room. How convenient!

Well, I am in the First Sergeant Academy. PT is tough here. Sunday I ran 2.5 miles. Tuesday, we ran in formation 1.5 miles, then we did pyramid pushups/situps... very painful. Wednesday, we ran in formation again, 2.5 miles. Thursday, we ran 2 miles with pyramid pushups/flutterkicks.... boy. I survived! Praise God for giving me the strength.

We take the PT test on Monday. Passing is a must or else students go home. Tough break, but it won't happen to me.

I will run tomorrow... probably 3 miles.

Kathy, I can't believe the miles you walk. That must take up quite a bit of your time.

Keep it up guys! I am praying for you from Alabama!

Also, I am rebuilding my new site. I provided the link below. I will be adding my Catholic things slowly. Please visit!

Peace.

Courage

Courage, it's great to hear from you. Good job on the workouts. But then, I guess you don't have much choice.

The continuing story of what this group is doing for me . . .

In order to meet my commitment to run 5 days this week, I had to get up this morning and run. The problem is that I had Catholic Men's Fellowship at 8 AM this morning at church. No problem, I can get up at 6, go running, and easily be there in time. But my son had to use my car, so I called the leader of CMF and asked if I could ride with him (he lives near me). He said sure, he could pick me up at 6:50 AM.

So, I set my alarm for 5:30 AM, but I kept waking up during the night, afraid that I would oversleep and miss my run. When the alarm went off at 5:30, I jumped out of bed, got dressed, and went out for my 2 mile run. This is all due to your support. I feel like I have to answer to all of you, so I need to be more responsible. Thank you all for your support.

May our Lord's blessings be upon you all.

I got up at 5:30 this morning so I could go running, and get a jump start on the new week. My goal for this week is to run 12 miles. I ran 2 miles today. 10 to go.
