Default New Game! When I was a kid I thought..

Here is a fun new game for all of us to play..

you write it like this:

when I was a kid, I thought: then add what you thought. Here goes for me:

When i was a kid, and ate watermelons, I thought the seeds would sprout a watermelon in my tummy!

When I was a kid I thought that it was not possible to become pregnant if you weren't married.

It took me quite a few years to get the meaning of a song.

"...and seldom is heard, a discouraging word..."

The correct meaning, OBVIOUSLY, is that discouraging words are seldom heard on the Lone Prarie. Somehow, someway, I got it into my head that the song meant that "seldom" was a discouraging word, and you heard this discouraging word on the Lone Prarie.

When I was a kid, I thought that at any moment, while trying to sleep, a Borg from Star Trek would come into my room and assimilate me.

When I was a kid, I thought "french kissing" was a fancy kiss, like a fancy dance. (to me as a kid, "French" meant "Fancy")

When I was a kid, I thought that living in a free country meant just that.

I vote for the BBQs and watermelons!

When I was a kid I thought my dad being Santa was pretty cool (especially when I got to be an elf).
