We need to find some food! All I found were some stale popcorn balls left over from Halloween.

Hi Everyone! I have been working on some house things and have been working more days teaching also. I am glad to be online now just spending a little time.

I have been very depressed over the election results here in Illinois. I try to vote prolife, but Illinois is a terrible place for that. We just elected all prodeath candidates. What a mess. Only Fr. Pavone's letters the past few days have given me a little hope. Why is it so hard, when so many of these candidates are CATHOLIC!\! I am really disgusted at the state of our country.

So, now that I got that out of my system, I just want to say hi again. How are you all handling your state's election news?

Just praying. We are really bummed out here too. We worked so hard to defeat Amendment 2 (Cloning). We were out moneyed 10 - 1 but we fought hard.

Yeah, I watched the returns on election night and there was a time that I thought it would be defeated. What was the final count on that? I think praying sounds good about now. Otherwise I am too depressed about these elections and what it means to life issues. Illinois is trying to pass something that even if the Supreme Court overturns Roe vs. Wade, it will guarantee that abortion will be protected! The prolife groups keep running commercials but I don't think people are focusing on that right now.

I found my way here, but my shoes are a bit sticky.

I thought I'd better leave them at the door.

OPPS! Sorry about that. I meant to throw those sticky trash bags covered with leaves and honey over in the Mudgies yard.

We fought like crazy against a megga Million dollar campaign. We were making a lot of headway, but alas...by a mear few thousand votes Amendment 2 passed. They spent $30 million to our paltry $3 Million scraped up as best we could.

My Last shot fired over the bow this morning

Of course they edited it to make it sound like everyones signs were ripped off. It was just our signs.
