While the staff apologists have occasionally contributed a clarifying post to threads in the general forums when asked to do so by members, unfortunately, they do not have the time to do this on a regular basis. Two remedies are possible:
Quote:
1. A member who is curious about the Church's teaching on the thread in question can pose the question in the AAA forum.
2. A curious member may also send a private message to a staff apologist (including a link to the thread in question) and ask the apologist to contribute to the thread.

I cannot guarantee that the apologists will select the AAA question or have the time to post to every general forums thread they are asked to comment on. It would be best for such questions to be asked only in circumstances when there is a great deal of confusion in the thread and no one seems to know the answer (for example, no one has provided any links to Church documents).
Of course, anyone who has an apologetics question about something that has appeared on the forums is welcome to
contact Catholic Answers directly. The staff apologists answer all questions posed to them by voice mail within three to five business days, depending on current backlog.
