Default Exercise Support Group--week Of 01/14

Howdy, everyone. I need some support. I got really busy with last week, sometimes working until 11:30 at night. As a result, I have run since last Tuesday. I'm working from home this week, so I should be able to get on the treadmill. I just need some encouragement.

How's everyone else doing?

Hi Michael,
I started the week off with 8 1/4 miles......a bit slow for me. Had a lazy weekend. Have to get back to " bizniz" now!

Kathy, you're doing great. I wish I had your determination. The remodelling of our house has me pulled in so many directions that I have a hard time focussing.

Thanks Michael. Yesterday was a bit harder, as it was raining. But it's so that I feel guilty if I don't walk. Sometimes i think "I am NOT doing it" and then I start out for home and warmth and what happens?? I end up walking anyway.

Hi, Kathy;

I got my motivation back this week, but woke up Monday morning with very sore knees, especially when going up or down the stairs. I think it might have been a virus. So I took a few days to let them rest, and got back on the treadmill this morning. I managed to run 2 miles with no pain, although I did have a some mild asthma afterward.

It felt good to be back. Where's everyone else?

I slept a little later than I intended today, but I decided to run anyway. I managed to run two miles on the treadmill. I feel like I'm getting back in the groove.

Anyone else working out?

Autumn, it's great to see you. It's also great to see your commitment. That really helps me. Thanks for posting.

The good news is that I ran today. That's 3 consecutive days. I know that doesn't sound like much, but the way I've been lately, it's quite an accomplishment.

The bad news is that I only made 1.5 miles. But I'm happy.
