Re: New Moderators
Hi everyone! In glancing over the posts I see a lot of sympathy for me, the newbie moderator of the Traditional Catholicism Forum. But, apart from being new to moderating on CAF, I have moderated other fora, on one of which I was the only administrator/moderator that interacted with the posters for 3 years. Of course, I have a LOT to learn here and I will make LOTS of mistakes, I'm sure. Still, I'm not completely new to moderating, although I will need everyone's help and support--and especially your prayers!

I hope the forum does not turn into what I have seen on other forums. Lets just say a pit full of vipers would be safer

Well, that's what moderators are there to prevent. Yes?

Mudgie is short for curmudgeon.
Peeps are colored marshmallow candies made in the shape of rabbit and chicks and sold around Easter. See the thread on Peeps in the Clubhouse. I'm sure there's a picture in there somewhere.

Welcome, Jean! We're usually a pretty nice group of people to deal with. Usually. I just get upset once in a while, and though I'm a pretty patient person, I do have a few "hot buttons." And, as far as I know, I've never been put on the "naughty list" by any moderator. And the only time I've ever been turned in (that I know of) is when I made a slightly off color remark, and I reported myself, and asked the mod if they could remove my post. So you don't have to read my posts - I'll just report myself if I do something stupid. I guess as Catholics, we get used to accusing and prosecuting ourselves - comes from years of going to confession!

That's OK, it'd be more trouble than it's worth to send 'em to Australia. I know you guys make some good sweet treats though - love the Oreos and the Reese's Pieces

Re: New Moderators
Is there any listing of which Moderators are in charge of which forums? I was just curious. By the way, what is a Mudgie? Oh, by the way, I LOVE Peeps, even the ones for other holidays besides Easter. I love the Christmas Peeps, the Halloween Peeps, and the Fourth of July Peeps! I love black jelly beans too. My second favourite jelly bean is white. I don't like the yellow ones.
