Exercise Support Group--week Of 02/18
Happy new week! It's time to set new goals for this week.
Based on my schedule for this week, I'm going to set a goal of running 10 miles.

Re: Exercise Support Group--week Of 02/18
I'm down 13 as of Sunday morning. My goal is to continue to lose weight and to get some form of exercise at least 5 days. So far I have 2 days worth.

Good job, Nick.
I haven't been feeling great this week, so I haven't been on the treadmill yet. I'm going to try later today, but we'll see how it goes.

Re: Exercise Support Group--week Of 02/18
I am going to shoot for 40 miles walking again. Snow for a lot of last week really held me back. So far this week I have almost 17 miles.

Sorry to hear that. Feeling bad always makes it hard on the workout routine.

Actually, it's a work day week...........so if I do 40, it's 8 a day. Yesterday, I had just over 10. So far I have just over 27 miles with 2 days to go.

Wow! How do you do that? Walking 10 miles has to take like 2.5 hours or more.
I got 0 exercise on Tuesday and a little over 2 miles walking yesterday.

That is an excellent question. How do you manage to fit that in? I struggle to get 4 miles - with kids and work and house cleaning.

Ciao from Italy!
Man, it has been a long few months... But I am back on the world wide web! Things take time setting up here and the telephone and internet are no exception!
Hope you are all doing well and keep up with your exercise goals!
God Bless
Courage

Courage, it's great to hear from you! I've been thinking about you lately . . . wondering how you've been. In what part of Italy are you staying? It's a beautiful country. I fell in love with Assissi.
I haven't been working out this week, as I haven't been feeling well. But I've been doing a lot of manual labor here at home. So I've been getting excercise, just not the formal kind. Next week will be better.

I had 42 miles for the week. I walk at work.....that's how I get all those miles in! Goodness....I haven't tried it straight! Actually I was shooting for a solo marathon for myself. Just something I want to do when the weather gets warmer. My ultimate goal is to hike Long's Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park. I might do that in my next life!

Mine is to stand on top of Half Dome in Yosemite. I have a huge fear of heights. That's why I haven't been there yet. But it's still a goal.
