Exercise Support Group--week Of 02/25
Good morning, friends. Ready to start a new week?
Well, last week I set a goal of running 10 miles, but never even got started, as I wasn't feeling well. So, this week, I'll try again. My goal for this week is to run 10 miles. Yesterday, and managed to run 2 miles, and again this morning. So I'm up to 4 miles so far. And based on my schedule for this week, I should have no problem reaching that goal.

Go get 'em tiger!
My goal is some form of exercise 5 days this week with at least 3 days being intense. Yesterday was intense so 4 more total and 2 more intense days left.

Nick, what do you consider intense? I used to do Cardio Kickboxing, and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the class was cancelled due to lack of participation.

Nice job gentleman. Keep up the good work.
I'm not sure how much treadmill time I'll log this week with the kids back in school ( they were out on break so I was able to run to my hearts content).
But my goal is 5 days each week - though maybe not as intensive.

Intense would generally be my martial arts class or my x-bike class. Something that leaves me tired and very sweaty at the end.

I don't get it. With the kids in school, shouldn't you have more time?

Sheesh - for me that's called child rearing. Shall I send the boys over for an intense weekend?

Naw - I work full time so when the kids are in school, I get home, zip off to after school activities a few nights a week, help them with homework, cook, clean, etc.
Then try to squeak in a workout at some point.
Vacation time, I come home and do not have the evening run-about.

Sure. Send 'em my way. I'll shape 'em up martial arts style and ship 'em back to ya.

Are you emailing them, or faxing them?
Hey, Nick, what part of California are you in?

Yeah, it's a pretty good area. A little wet this time of year for outdoor exercise.

I made my goal last week....I ended up with 42 miles over 5 days. I started this week with just over 9 miles for the day.

P.S> Michael, I checked out the "Half Dome" you were talking about. WOW....if you can do it.....WOW!!
