Default Monty Trogs: Setting Out on the Quest of the Silmarils!

This new thread is for our Quest of the Silmarils. Lord Hrolf gave me the honor of starting it.

Lord Celeborn wishes us to start out on our journey.

CLICK HERE for a map of Beleriand. Beleriand is the territory that we will be journeying into. We will enter from the Northeastern corner, Lothlann.

From there, we will continue on to the forest in the middle, named Doriath. The Elves there will aid us. However, we must only tell the King of Doriath about our mission. If others hear, they may try to outrun us and take the silmaril for their own purposes.

After we leave Doriath, we will journey to the Gate of the Sirion River. They have hidden boats for us to take to the Southeastern coast, where the sightings of the silmaril have taken place.

The three Ring Bearers will lead:

Sir John - carrying Narya, is our most skilled and experienced fighter and our leader.

Lady Ariesella - carrying Nenya, the ring of healing and restoration.

Sir Idhrenion - carrying Vilya, the ring of protection and preservation.

To those of you without rings, Lady Galadriel gives each a parting gift in secret. You can each tell us what she gave you.

And now, most humbled by this great honor that has been bestowed upon me, I go off to pray that we might be strong and successful in our quest.

...and I see that one of the kittens has come to join me.....

Out of play is an inportant part of this thread. It allows us to mingle, and share things in our lives. I remember the entire quest stopping last year for prayers for my Amber thinking she had Strep Throat. I was a mess, as it was what my teenage son Will died of. See, life happens, and we jump in and out of quest to suit the party's playing and personal needs. Most of all, we stick together, and are counted.

The Monty Trogs, Forever!

Like i said, as best they can, let us know out of play the situation, and all will be written into the story, even if away for days or more.

We are a party questing forth, and life happens, but never feel that if life grabs you and gives you a shake, you can not quest. I am a mother of two right now, three if you count my husband....days sometime say, getting the car fixed... again means time away...and so on.

We are all in this together...right everyone?

Lana
