Weird Clubs?
Sooooo, what are these weird clubs I see floating around? Mudgies, Noidians....
I think this is just to annoy outsiders.
I shall have to put these primitives under my microscope and observe them in greater detail.
What does the species of Mudgies eat?
What is their culture?
How do they interact?
Do they have young?

Mudgies? They eat tons of roadkill. Stewed, BBQ, poached - never raw because that would be unhealthy.
We love really robust and old coffee or tea - the blend of the house is Cofftea.
Our culture is that of the cantankerous human. Nothing more.
Do I have young???? Ohhh yeah. They are worse than me so for that, I love them pesky little kids.

So why aren't you called Coffteas? Or Roadkills?
Ok, thinking that over, I guess "Mudgie" sounds a little more....inviting.

We're called Mudgies because that's what we are - curmudgeons. Cofftea and roadkill is just what we drink & eat.

Noids are a skittish bunch. Always looking for THEM, and fearful of electronics.
Trogs are an adventurous sort always on some quest or journey.
Junkies are overly happy people. They tend to live in a treehouse and enjoy fruitcake and angelic sparkle sprinkly things.

Well, I think Mudgie is an evolved term...unlike us Mudgies who have not evolved.
It is actually short for Curmudgeon - though just easier to type as Mudgie.
We cannot be called Roadkills - because we eat roadkill. To be called what one eats strikes me as a form of cannibalism.
Any one is welcomed into the Mudgie forum, though few venture in...go figure. But we sure do love fresh crankiness. It livens us up.

Re: Weird Clubs?
Mudgie stands for curmudgeon - meaning a cantankerous person.
As a strange hybrid creature (part mudgie, part junkie, part noid) I can perhaps give you a brief introduction to the other foreign cultures:
Junkies - otherwise known as Crazy Internet Junkies (as in we are addicted to the internet) - do breed in a fashion but rather than take time away from their computers to do so they simply convert people by sprinkling them with fairy sparkles, force-feeding them fruitcake (takes weeks to digest) and investing them with the distinctive fruit hats (think Carmen Miranda) that we all wear.
Noids - short for paranoid. Our resident conspiracy theorists. Everything that happens is potentially part of an evil plot by THEM (the enemy who must never be named). Our main source of protection is our ever-ready supply of Holy Water (aquae sacrae since we prefer to confuse THEM by using the Latin term). And the tinfoil hats which shield us from THEM beaming messages into our brains.
Trogs - short for troglodyte (literally means cave-dweller, used here in the sense of charmingly old-fashioned). Better known as the Monty Trogs for our love of random Monty Python quotes. Believe firmly in chivalry and heading off on random long and involved quests which are a mix of Holy Grail legend and Lord of the Rings or some such.

Re: Weird Clubs?
Soon you may regret that you asked the question....as every Noid, Mudgie, Junkie or Trog will be checking in just to irritate or say howdy.

I too am a strange hybrid creature.
Half Mudgie, half Junkie...I'm a Munkie!
Though I do find myself spending most of my time in the Mudgie thread.

I've seen it, but it was a LONG time ago. And I don't remember flying cows.
