Internet Junkies On Tour in Sydney Australia - #51
Welcome to my home turf, Junkstars and Junkettes .... hope you've all recovered after the flight.
Remember that since we've crossed the international dateline today is actually tomorrow .... which makes yesterday today ... and a lot of us very confused
Anyways, the treehouse has been set up in the lovely Hyde Park, directly across from the Cathedral we'll be touring shortly ... so there's at least something familiar for you!

Ask a mod Lily...It's ok really. Happens all the time. I have done it myself.

Well - I'm tired now! We ran out of corned beef at supper tonight! The kids were REALLY hungry. I was really craving a reuben for lunch tomorrow - so, I bought another and cooked it tonight! So now I'm going to go to bed and dream of a HUGE sandwich with extra kraut!!!
Goodnight Marie and Lily!!!! (well - good evening Lily )

I'm off to bed as well. That dateline crossing wore me out. See you tomorrow.

Re: Internet Junkies On Tour in Sydney Australia - #50
Ok dearies … if you’ve unpacked and rested we can start the tour of the Cathedral.
Sydney’s most significant religious site, the beautiful Saint Mary’s Basilica-Cathedral, was designed by William Wardell, and begun in 1844.
The spires as originally designed by Wardell were only finally added a few years ago
Let’s take a moment to get a good view of the exterior, built of lovely local sandstone…
