Default The Vatican Vs. Mecca

Hi!,

I am a Sunni Muslim with respect for Catholicism. I am greatful to Catholic schools for my early childhood education.

Recent world events encouraged me to study various religious interpretations and I found the following link:

Was Dr. Alberto Rivera really an ex-priest from the Vatican? Are his claims true?

Thanks.

Chick publications is strictly a *for profit* anti Catholic organization. It is a joke without a punchline. Anti Catholicism sells and they have taken advantage of this fact.

Stay away from the Jack Chick site. They hate everyone! You will get much better information here. Hope to see you around more!

Tahamed,

Hello and Selam. I would like to ask you some questions about Islam if you are available. I was raised around Islam and have several Muslims in my family.

Welcome to the Boards,

Salvo

You shouldn't take Jack Chick seriously, my friend. In any case, I'm glad we have a Muslim brother in this site.

Relying on chick publications to inform you about Catholicism is like relying on the KKK to inform you on Black people. Stay away from those sources!

This is good for a laugh...

I came across a copy of Jack Chick's newsletter "Battle Cry" in which he takes the movie "The Passion" to task. He lists all sorts of "bad" Catholic things about the movie like Mary as Co-Redemptrix, Veronica's veil, the Way of the Cross, and the "Brown Scapular." Brown Scapular? Pray tell, where in the movie is there a "brown scapular?"

P.S.: My screen name has nothing to do with Jack Chick.
