This could be quite silly and disjointed, but I think it fits with the audience here.

Let's try to create a semi-coherent conversation thread using only movie quotes. No need to chain them or anything. imdb.com can be of great assistance here.

For example:

"Say, mister. Will you stake a fellow American to a meal?"

could be followed up with

"I do wish we could chat longer, but... I'm having an old friend for dinner."

It may not flow that smoothly, but who cares? Let's go!
