Crazy Internet Junkies Tour Tallahassee #54
We went to Florida generally last time, let's go to Tallahassee specifically this time.
First, the treehouse...
Next, the Co-Cathedral of St. Thomas More...where I was confirmed.
Enjoy!

Love the treehouse, and the Cathedral too ... St Thomas More is one of my favourite saints

Re: Crazy Internet Junkies Tour Tallahassee #54
My report from the weekend:
On Saturday morning, I had a retreat for the Easter Vigil from 9-12. We basically rehearsed where we were going to sit and how to process in. The bishop spoke to us for a few minutes.
Saturday evening, I had to be at the co-cathedral by 7 to get my card that had my name and my saint's name on it. It read: John John (last name withheld). Nice and easy to remember.
We began the Vigil in the chilly air and then we processed in with unlit candles. The unbaptized didn't get candles, but everybody else did. The deacon sang the Exultet (sp?) and then we had the 9 readings. After the reading of the Epistle, we sang the Gloria and the lights were turned on.
The deacon chanted the Gospel and then Bishop Ricard began his sermon. He started off with, "Don't worry. I won't sing my sermon."

So, what is your conversion story? (leading up to RCIA) I never read it if you've posted it before.

It would calm everyone's nerves at our church if our organist didn't play.
