Default Exercise support group--week of 5/6!

Happy Sunday, everyone. It's time to set goals for the week. At Sharon's insistance, I am taking today off. I've been assigned to a project in San Diego, so I'll be working there full time for the next 3-4 weeks, at least. I don't know if my hotel is located in a good place for running outside, but I do know they have a fitness center.

So, based on that schedule, I'm going to set an aggressive goal of 15 miles this week. Keep me honest, everyone.

Be sure and have some PEEPS .
As for me and mine, I hope to have another 50 mile week. It is a bit of a tough one ....keeping up that pace, but wouldn't it be great if I could hit 60??

Are you going for distance or age?

(Sorry, I couldn't resist. )

Unfortunately, the two aren't all that far apart. But I have been thinking.....distance. I do better if I set goals. And as I hate to do that and then fall short....I generally push myself. The legs look nice but the knees "squeal" a bit in protest.

Your blood sugar is high because you're so sweet, my friend.

Nick, you're truly an inspiration! 31 pounds is awesome! And I'm impressed with your stretch goals. I need that kind of support, since I'm also stretching my goals.

She is a nice peeple.

60 miles though Kathy? I will be in total awe if you pull that off. How do you fit that much time in and still work?

Have been cleaning and packing all day, but truly feel like I've run a 1/2 marathon! ha! I'm soooo tired...and this is how it'll be til we move. Please keep my family and me in your prayers...just want to make sure the move goes smoothly.

God bless you guys! (and gals)

Oh...btw...stayed up way too late to watch that fight...It didn't air til 11pm EST...ugh. It was eh...ok. I really thought they both did a good job...but no knock outs...no drama...De La Hoya didn't do so great, but everyone was impressed that he held his own with the Champ.

Sharon, not to put a damper on things, but it will continue long after you move, too. There's that "settling in" period, you know. Just thought you might want to set your expectations right.

Yeah, I know. With registering my kids into new schools, getting new doctors...learning our way around...trying to acclimate to the racetracks they have for highways in Florida...husband trying to find a new job....ugh. This list is daunting, no?

With God...I can do all things. This is actually God's will...there have been things that have fallen into place rather simply...and unexpectedly. I wouldn't have thought a year ago I'd be moving back to Florida, but when God speaks...you gotta listen.
