Where to get them for free: Legal only please!
Hello Everyone!
I am new to this club! I LOVE to read and go to the library frequently. I thought, heck, why not start reading some good Catholic books too.
Small problem. I can't buy books right now, and, our small town library dosen't carry many books, let alone religious ones.
Any ideas where to find CAF Book Club Books that are both free AND legal? Our world today....
I look foward to reading and sharing with you soon! Nice to meet you all!

Tons of stuff to read and watch on EWTN.com
That should get ya started.
You might want to do a search for Catholic pubishers. I suggest sticking to approved books at first though.
Your local librarian should know if they have any books with the Imprimatur.
My Parish Church has a lending library. Maybe yours does too.

Re: Where to get them for free: Legal only please!
Thanks for the info!
I will check to see what I can find.
Can anyone tell me how this club works exactly, and what book are we on now?
Thanks!
P. S. I hope I can keep up with you all. I tend to be a slow reader...but I don't want to miss out on all the fun learning here! So I thought I'd give it a try.
Happy Reading!

Your Parish may have a library - ours does. If they do not, other Parishes in the area may have!

We are about to start discussing the Diary of St. Faustina. Mommyof4 will lead the discussion and an online copy of the book is available: http://www.our.homewithgod.com/divinemercy/

You can always request that your library orders them...in fact, I'm an author and I offered to donate one, but my local library said they would rather order it because then it comes "shelf ready"...if I donated it, they have to send it in and get it recovered, etc...so they do not mind ordering books for you to read at all- many have a request form online - very easy to get

Re: Where to get them for free: Legal only please!
Or check with your library and see if they participate in interlibrary loan. Many do, and they can order books for you from libraries all over the country - the library isn't purchasing the book, they are merely borrowing it from another library. There may be a nominal fee ($1, or something like that, for the processing), so maybe not totally free, but much better on the budget than buying the book!
