to answer CarolAnn's question about why my cat hates me now...
We tried to take her to the Vet last night she escaped and hid somewhere so we couldn't take her and now she's not paying any attention to me at all... I know she hold grudges because she has never forgiven DH for this last time she had to have her shots...
(BTW, I'm not talking about the Siamese...talking about one of the twins...)

we had a thread a while back on "how do you know when you are getting old" and one sure marker was: you hurt yourself while in bed. how true. Last night I had been sorting laundry and had to remove a bunch of hangers of the bed. I did not notice one hanger stuck into my robe, so when I got into bed the hanger came with me. tossing and turning trying to remove it I sprained something essential, I have black and blue marks around my waist where the hanger attacked me, and ripped my robe, which tripped me up when I finally got up to get rid of the hanger. hurt my knee again and my toenail. I am not over the hill, I fell off the side of the mountain.

Actually, I spent a lovely evening on my newly painted deck. Remind me next year not to paint from the door over to the rail.

It takes hours to get dry so you can get back to the other side.
