Default Where can I find information on annulments?

I'm instructing a convert prior to RCIA. He is divorced and re-married, and his wife is also divorced and remarried. Clearly, they BOTH have to get annulments if he is to receive the sacrement.

He is concerned about this, and wants me to support and help him. Where can I find information on annulments?

I recommend Annulments and the Catholic Church by Edward Peters. This book is as an invaluable resource for lay people who want to understand the challenging issue of annulments and pastoral leaders who need to offer guidance on questions of theology and canon law.

I also suggest studying the following sections of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Code of Canon Law:

Catechism:
The Sacrament of Matrimony
The Sixth Commandment

Canon Law:
Marriage
Marriage Processes

You may also wish to post a question in the general forums for feedback from others who have personally experienced the annulment process.
