Default Exercise support group--week of 6/24!

Good morning, everyone (Well, afternoon for some of you.)

It's time to set our goals for the week. My goal is to run 20 miles this week, including a 5 mile run.

excellent goals you two...wow!

My goals are to do pretty much the same as last week, but I think with 3 days eliptical....2 days running...1 day walking...2 days strength training. 1 day off.

Today was a bust...had a plumber over literally all day...even missed mass. Toilets weren't flushing...showers were backed up...it was an irrigation nightmare, frankly.

I wish everyone success this week.

My goal is for everyone to be healthy this week. I lost a few days this week to sick babies, then I had a migraine last night and didn't get out. So I still want an hour of walking or half hour of biking every day.

I ran 3 miles this morning to start the week. That's a total, so far, of 3 miles for the week. 17 to go.

Thanks for the prayers, everyone.

I did the Philly Tri yesterday in 3hrs16min. A bit longer than I thought my longest time would be.

Felt really lousy going into it because of my cold. So about halfway through, I decided not to push it and just tried to enjoy the rest of the race.

Here's a race report from my training log. I post there under dontracy.

I'm resting today, then back at it tomorrow. Need to sign up for another race in September. Just trying to decide which one to do.

Running/jogging--the only thing that I haven't really taken up that much. I'm more into weights than jogging...

Just did my weights, but no little ones to help. Great idea.

Ran five miles on treadmill. Too much smoke outside today. Just 14 miles to go for this weeks goal.

Tammy, that sounds like fun. Who has more fun, you or the kids?

Prague, I'm impressed. I'm not sure I could run 5 miles on the treadmill, although I haven't tried it. I think I would get bored, as the scenery never changes. I'm planning a 5 mile run on Saturday, but I'll drive down the hill, and run outside.
