Default Exercise support group--week of 7/8!

Howdy, folks. It's that timr of week again. Time to set goals. My goals are the same as lat week. I plan to run 20 miles, including a 5 mile run.

I started this morning with my 5 mile run, that that's out of the way.

8 in the bank and it's just your second day of the week!

I'm getting a root canal done at lunch. Not my favorite thing, to say the least, but I'm trying to stay positive.

Ouch! Do you count that as part of your workout for the week?

Hey all. Wow - Michael is up to 5 miles in a run now? Man - great job.

After 2 full weeks of being sick, today is the first day so far that I feel good. I will wait a few days then hop on the treadmill again - but it is amazing how fast one appears to lose tone ( or at least the tiniest resemblance of tone)

Actually, this is my thirrd week of doing a 5 mile long run. Next week, I plan to bump it up by another mile.

Praise God that you're finally feeling better. I know what you mean about the loss of tone. I've been there. I usually find that it only takes 2-3 days of working out to get back up to where I was before I had to stop. I hope that's true for you, too.

went to the beach yesterday--and walked A LOT--I am not quite sure of how many miles...but I went for about half hour, and the strange thing is that my foot feels so much better on the sand, without shoes??? Like more flexible...maybe I should forgo the inserts, jrabs...and just move to the beach??? Problem solved?

Oh...those homes are a mere $2-3 MILLION!!!

But...think of the money I'd be saving on inserts. lol

Glad to see everyone is keeping up with their goals. I ate badly over the weekend though--got to start eatin' clean again!

Hi Sharon!
Thanks for the vote of confidence. It is SO hot here that it makes it hard for me to get out and walk. I try to do before work and lots at work. It's been in the 90s lately.

It has been hot in PA...I have heard that from friends. In Florida...yesterday it hit 100...wow...that's a wee bit toasty. I like sweating though--it's good for us.
