"Apocrypha" instead of "Deuterocanon".

fellowship as a verb as in: I love that church, they fellowship so well.

I always hate that one, since, after you say yes, they always counter with...
"Tell me your personal salvation experience"
(and don't accept "I was baptised when I was a baby" as a valid answer.)

Re: Protestant words or expressions not used by Catholics
There are words we and they both use,l but mean something different to them. Example:
"Christian" being contrasted to "Catholic".
Or the word "Roman" when they mean Catholic.

My response:
Excuse me! That's personal. *insert offended face with slight hint of sarcasm*

Re: Protestant words or expressions not used by Catholics
This one is different, and maybe I haven't experienced it in catholicism: refering to the Father in the Trinity as Father God. They don't say God by itself, always Father God. We as catholics, from what I have experienced call the Father in the trinity.... God. I dunno, maybe its just something I have heard

Father-God is a phrase used by several Evangelical groups and Jehovah-Witness - from what I have read in the Watch-tower
We do similar but simply reverse it to: God the Father.
I suggest it is a coinage adopted and adapted from Catholicism

Re: Protestant words or expressions not used by Catholics
Sword Drill.**
**Just so you all will know:
Usually used with children, in teaching them their way around the Bible. (As, "the Sword of the Lord").
Everybody has their Bible ready, & the leader names a Bible verse. First one to find it & read it out loud, gets a point.
What??? You thought we were all born with Bible verses rolling off our tongues???
Personally, I was never very good at it. I memorized the words, not the locations. (I am murder with a good concordance though). I was informed by a Baptist pastor, that "If you don't know where in the Bible the verse is, you don't know the Bible, period"!
