No one mentioned Zenit.org which gives Vatican News through daily e-mail. Free except for good will offerings during fundraising.

I, too, like NRO--The Corner, Fox, MSNBC when Peggy Noonan is on, Talk Radio occasionally, and Catholic Radio. Online I also like CatholicSource, and, of course, all the Catholic Blogs I follow!

In Christ's peace and joy,

We get our news from Catholic radio, and sometimes t.v, but I really don't like the secular point of view. TV is more for local news.

Many sources. *insert plug* The site I run also has Catholic news submitted by organizations and individuals - citizen journalists. If you want to write or submit news visit Spero Forum.

One of the best internet sources, www.spiritdaily.com -- it has appealing Catholic news items that you're not likely to find anywhere else.

We use much the same as others, namely talk radio, internet, but also the Wanderer. It's a great Catholic newspaper.

Gosh, My places for getting news weren't really included. I read the National Catholic Register, Our local archdiocesan rag for just a bit longer, EWTN -- and selectively the local news broadcasts. My homepage also has news from a Catholic perspective.

I don't really care that I am not the most well-informed person. I kind of live that "Separate Peace" lifestyle of denial and avoidance. Seroiously, I am fine about not knowing how awful the world is. I get plenty of email requests to write letters to politicans and I guess that another source.

I choose to not freak my son out about the world and all the problems there are. He is six, but being the kind of kid who looks out at a snowy and morning and asks what happens if I were to have a car accident while taking him to school. Sober -- and I have trouble being serious for long -- it gives me headaches.

He actually asks questions about the stuff on Sacred Heart Radio and likes Fr. Corapi and Mother Angelica.

If anyone in TN knows of a station that has Catholic content please post it on this forum. Thanks
Sirius satelite radio carries EWTN radio now.

Hi, Michael ~

I have had my shortwave radio for at least 10 years or more and I am not sorry! You won't be sorry either if you invest in one. It is great to take with you when you are traveling and you are then able to receive the EWTN shortwave signal anywhere so you can listen to EWTN at anytime. In some areas the sound comes in clearer than in other areas. You can actually buy them quite cheaply nowadays, and again, you won't be sorry!!

God bless,
DeeMarie

MSNBC, Rush Limbaugh, and EWTN.

Thank God for EWTN!

I would like to get Fox but the local cable network does not carry it.
