I'm doing my Air Force Reserve time so I am at the Chapel on base. The Air Force has some problem with people using government computers to visit and post to forums.
I've been busy in the evenings visiting folks and trying to study some Latin.

Especially religious ones? My workplace (State government) also blocks CAF. Stupid amendment!

I have a Catholic Prayer book that has the Mass in Latin. I'm not sure if it's the full blown Latin Mass, or just the one that has some Latin like EWTN.

I wonder which state is more in the middle of nowhere...
Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, or South Dakota?
EDIT: Actually, I think it's in Oklahoma!

Jen, I used to live in SD, and believe me, there are huge expanses of "nowhere" out there. Huge. Just ask Fr., he's from SD, too.

Look for the copyright. If it is before 1962 it is more than likely the TLM.

It's a new book, so it's obviously isn't. But, my uncle's dad or step dad (not our side of the family) had a Catholic Missal from early than the 1950s -- looks really old and ready to fall apart.

I was gonna say... how to people make a living out in the middle of nowhere? And where do they go? And how does everyone's money not all wind up going to one person or store? Do some people head out to the larger cities for work, then drive back home to the small little towns (err... villages?)?
I guess you wouldn't find many high tech jobs out in the middle of nowhere.
Ever been there? I can see it now...
Parishioner: Where did you go this week, Fr. Leo?
Fr. Leo: I went to....
well, you get the idea.
(I wonder what the customer service is like there... )
