Default EXERCISE SUPPORT GROUP -week of 10/14

Hello, everyone. Welcome to the new thread for the week. It's time to set goals for the week.

For over a week, my left ankle has been really bothering me, so I've decided to skip my long run this week. So my goal is to run 15 miles for the week. I'll be attending a conference in Orlando, flying out this evening, so I hope I'll have time to run every day while I'm there.

So, I took today off, and will start my running tomorrow.

Morning Michael! I fell a wee bit short of last weeks goal. I started attending morning Mass and that cut off about 25 minutes of my morning walk. An by the time I get off work, it's dark. So to that end, I am going for 40 in 5 and hoping I make it!

Kathy
P.S. Have fun in Orlando!

Good Afternoon Michael and Katie!

I think that with all the doctors my son will be seeing this week, I'll cut back to committing myself to 10 miles this week. That way if I make it I won't get discouraged.

I've noticed that since I joined up with this Exercise Support Group, I have kept up my exercise routine. I am walking much more and I'm not out of breath as easily. I feel better about me.

Thanks for all of your help!

God Bless
Pam

That's the same for me, Pam. I find it really helps having other people to report to. It keeps me accountable.

Ok, so this is REALLY starting to make me mad!!!!! I don't understand why I can't seem to control my eating on the weekends. Even on days when I have really good intentions it seems like something always happens that kinda forces me to eat terribly.

I'm sorry you are having problems like that on the weekend. I'll say a special prayer for you. And remember... Nothing forces us to eat terribly. It's just us.

I got in 1 mile yesterday and I'm gonna try for at least 2 miles today.

Hi everyone!

I only got 1 mile today, bringing my weekly total to 2 miles. I'll try a little harder tomorrow. I had choir practice this evening and just didn't get through in time to go walk.

God Bless,
Pam

Yesterday's totals

Calories: 2,325
Exercise: weights + 45 minute intense bike class + 45 minute intense TKD class

I am exhausted from yesterday's workout. It felt really good to work that hard. My legs still feel like jello.

keep us informed as to your son. Prayers are with you.

great job on keeping consistent. That is really one good way to lose weight. May take a bit of time, but the consistency is key. We are pround of you for your effort.

Somedays are sooooo difficult.
