Cool Cradle Catholic's Hang-Out

Since the crazy converts/reverts already have their thread, just wanted to start one for the rest of us who have been baptized as infants, stuck to the right path and struggle in it. Converts/Reverts guests are welcome to drop by too!

Can I hang here, too? Though I describe myself as a revert, I never really officially joined any non-Catholic churches - just sang in their choirs.....do I count as a cradle?

come on in
so you were baptised catholic as an infant then, and just drifted away for awhile?? if so, you're definitely not alone.

Thanks, chewchoo! Actually, I received all the Sacraments of initiation, was very active in parish life during my teen and young adult years, but after I married a non-Catholic man (my ex), I fell away. Despite that, I managed to have my older sons receive Baptism, Reconciliation and the Eucharist. My oldest fell away, but my middle son was Confirmed this past May (praise God!). My youngest one (from my current husband) will be receiving the Eucharist this April.

After my reversion, my current marriage was convalidated (after receiving a nullity of my former marriage from the Church), and my current husband, a non-practicing Anglican, is considering converting to the Catholic Church.

Needless to say it has been an interesting, but fulfilling, ride back home!

Thanks...don't mind if I do come in. Cradle here. Glad to be among the struggling born Cath's who just love our faith and don't want to fight about it.

Dunked at 2 weeks and still catching my breath.
