EXERCISE SUPPORT GROUP -week of 10/28
Happy New Week, everyone. It's time to set goals for the week. Mine will be minimal this week, as I can't run outside. The air quality in Southern California is poor due to the fires, and we're being told to avoid outside activities if possible.
So, my goal for the week is to run 15 miles, all on my treadmill.

Re: EXERCISE SUPPORT GROUP -week of 10/28
Morning Michael!
My goal again will be 35-40 in 5. Since I started attending morning Mass, I have cut 20 minutes off my walking time. But that's a good trade , huh? The rain has stopped (4 days in a row!) so that perks me up a bit. I just wish it didn't get dark so early. I could walk more then, but I hesistate to do that in the city. My bro lives outside of San Diego, so I know what you mean when you talk about air quality. Hey...question for you...can you recommend a decent elliptical?

Re: EXERCISE SUPPORT GROUP -week of 10/28
Hi everyone,
I'm trying for 15 miles this week. It is quite a jump for me, but I think I can do it.
I've already gotten 3 miles today!
I've also started doing something quite different... I'm finding a parking place (church, mall, grocery store, school) as far from the building as I can get. It makes me walk a little more each day. I really feel so much better since I've been posting here!
God Bless,
Pam

I walked about 3 miles yesterday. Very fast pace...I was in an angry mood, so it helped. LOL
Please say a prayer for my nephew's wife...she is flying to NY this weekend, and is running in the NY marathon--woohoo!!! (Her name is Kat) GRAZIE!

Re: EXERCISE SUPPORT GROUP -week of 10/28
35 miles is outstanding, Kathy...I always marvel.
I managed about 3 miles 'power walking' today--yay! My foot is doing much better!! And I have been eating healthier...I would like to lose about 15 pounds before Christmas...wish me luck everyone! I think if I just stick to working out in some form, daily like I used to...I'll be able to lose the weight, and get back into shape again. It stinks when you fall off the wagon.
Prayers to you all...thanks for listening!
