I did do the one on Friday on the other thread. I think they will have the one on Sunday, but I may not go depending on the weather.

I hope the bad weather will hold off here tomorrow. A fellow priest who was in Fr. Bro's class (Fr. Ken) his mother died this week and the wake is tomorrow. We're going and don't want to fight the weather conditions.

Prayers for Fr. Ken and for the repose of his mother's soul.

No changes in the coffee for Christmas. It's still Mudgie coffee. Have a cup.

47 degrees and foggy. Mostly cloudy today with a high of 75. It will be warm most of the week, with seasonal temperatures returning Friday.

Lil finally closed the motel thread. Still missing are Carol Ann and Zooey, in addition to the others already mentioned. Uncle David hasn't been in in a while, either. Send out that mangy looking dog to round up the prodigals.

Echoing Wander's sentiments, Bah, humbug!

Currently: Cloudy 27°F
Feels Like: 22°F
Dew Point: 17°F
Humidity: 60%
Pressure: 30.44 inches
Wind: From the North Northeast at 4 mph

Today: A mixture of snow and sleet this morning will become mixed with freezing rain at times this afternoon. Significant icing possible. High near 30F. Winds light and variable.

Tonight: Freezing rain early...then tapering off to freezing drizzle overnight. Low 26F. Winds light and variable. Chance of precip 90%.

Will decide about Noon on whether I will go to the concert. Right now, it does not look too bad.

When I was young(er), I used to mock the older guys who said they needed a cup of coffee to get their hearts started in the morning.

Now I need at LEAST two cups. The first one gets absorbed directly into the sidewalls of the throat. Never even hits bottom.

Somebody did me one Christian kindness. They bought me a 20 ounce cup. Now I can get a decent cup of coffee.

Speaking of which. Need a refill.

[Getting old is not for the faint of heart.]
