Unhappy Prayer to the patron saint of lost items?

My MIL told me about a patron saint of lost items...I lost my dad's wedding ring, which was engraved with his and my mom's initials (my parents died when I was little) and I was wearing this ring as a thumb ring. I think it slipped off when I wore it to my company Christmas party a few nights ago, and I can't find it. Please pray that God will enlighten me to where it is. I know it is a mere object, but I feel horrible losing it, after my sister saved it all these years, especially.

Thank you.

St. Anthony!

St. Anthony, St. Anthony, please come around.
Something has been lost and can not be found.

Our Father....

St Anthony...ok! I will have to implore his help tonight...My husband, who was angry with me as though I lost his ring or something (well, I lost my original engagement ring too so I guess I'm just a loser...get it, ok nevermind lol) thinks I should ask the person who threw the party to check his house...because it might be there. It was loose, and could have fallen off. Again, it is a mere object, but I feel foolish having lost it...it was my dad's ring ....ugh, I feel awful. Your prayers are appreciated.

I also need to ask for the same prayer. I lost my Wedding Ring last month and need to pray St. Anthony too. We just had our 27th Wedding Anniversary on Nov. 29th. My wife is less then happy about this.

WEGirl, I will pray for you and your ring too.

I will pray for you, too TIME! I don't know why I lose rings all the time.

O Saint Anthony, Saint of Miracles, Saint of Help. I also have need of your assistance; I have need of this special favor

(mention your favor).

Therefore, console me in my present necessity and grant me the help that, with full confidence, I hope for.
Amen.

It sounds so trivial, but I can't believe I lost this ring...I was nearly crying over it this morning--one of the few things I have left of my dad. I asked the man who threw the Christmas party if he could check his house...that was the last time I was wearing it, that I can feasibly recall.

I guess we shouldn't be attached to 'things'...and I'm not. It just was something that was in our family for over 50 years, that my sister kept in a safe place....and I go ahead and wear it...and lose it! Your prayers are appreciated, and please pray that I will get over the guilt I have with losing this item. Thank you.

Even though it is a physical object, it has lots of meaning because it was part of your Dad and something you can hold and have that physical connection to him. It is not just another object. Where you our WEGirl be without that Wedding Ban?

Let's keep praying to St. Anthony.

Aw--what a beautiful way of putting it. Thank you for that, Time. That is true, too.

Praying to St. Anthony for you to find the ring. Don't consider yourself a loser; it happens to all of us. My wife is ALWAYS looking for her glasses and somehow they ALWAYS turn up. Hope your ring does too!

St. Anthony do your thing.

also,

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

God Bless
