Re: Prayer to the patron saint of lost items?
St Anthony never fails.
Though I did have an interesting response once. I lost my cell phone for work. But sure enough, prayer to St Anthony did reveal where my cell phone was....never fail, for the thief that stole my phone left a message on my in box to taunt me!
I do believe St Anthony was revealing in his way, where the phone was - as is the promise.

Praying to St Anthony and Our Lady for Whatevergirl and Time.
You have beautiful heart, WG. I would feel equally sad if that happened to me. It is what the ring represents, not so much what it is.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Yes exactly. My dh says I always lose things...that I should never have been wearing it.
Anyways...thank you for your prayers. Still no ring, everyone. The party thrower from our office here (coworker) checked his home, and nothing there. He said he even checked his pool, that it might have rolled into it But nothing.
I am going to check the car, and some grocery bags. I might have had it on Sunday when I went to the store, but just can't remember. Thank you for your prayers!

Re: Prayer to the patron saint of lost items?
Dear St. Anthony (it's me....again)
Please help WEgirl and Time to locate the missing rings that are important to them as outward signs of love.
O God, please hear the prayers offered thru St. Anthony for the return of the rings. In Christ's name we pray.

Re: Prayer to the patron saint of lost items?
I understand how you feel about the ring. I have recently lost my engagement ring and have been extremely upset ever since. It has so much meaning and love and it's hard to wake up every morning knowing I no longer have it to wear everyday. I pray everyday I find it, but so far it has been a dead end.

Re: Prayer to the patron saint of lost items?
I'm just curious as to how hard it was for your both (TIME and WE) when you first realized your lost your rings. I'm having a very hard time not thinking about it and not being upset about it. Will this feeling subside and do you have any advice for me?
Thank you,
I'll continue to pray,
Jess

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not in to temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.
St. Anthony, St. Anthony please come down. Something has been lost and can't be found!
Gory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Re: Prayer to the patron saint of lost items?
No where near as important or sentimental as the things you two have lost, but i lost a really pretty and expensive necklace my boyfriend just got me. my mom always does this prayer that works for her every time and has worked for me a lot. its in italian though but if youre really desperate it may be worth a shot.
L'eterno riposo dona loro, o Signore,
e splenda ad essi la luce perpetua.
Riposino in pace. Amen.
i hope we all find our things
