I still haven't finished my wrapping either. I still haven't put the icing on my brownies for my goody bags. 
But, I have all week to get it together if I want. We don't have an "official" exchanging day.
But, I guess I have to get it done before the brownies get dry.

Ok, the outer black box is the hole in the wall. The inner black box is the frame. The 3 yellow "blobs" are the pieces of paper I have stuck in the gap.

Gotchya! so the frame is the weak link, not the door. Maybe some caulking or some of that expandable foam insulation would do the trick?

we don't have an official exchange day either, but some people take vacation time, and if i see somebody i want to be able to have my stuff ready. not that i exchange gifts with a lot of people, but.....  it is what is it

Or even some wooden shims would help.
