Default 'The Clubhouse' 'Twas the Night Before Christmas

(Adaptation of Clement Clarke Moore's famous poem).

'Twas the night before Christmas', and all through the Clubhouse
Not a creature was stirring, neither Camster or a mouse.
The stockings were hung near the Junkie fireplace
In hopes that The Bobster won't forget to find their place.;
The Noids were hiding under their beds,
While visions of THEM tortured their heads;
And Church Militant in camoflauge, wearing his cap,
Waiting for danger, or roadkill to trap!

When out on the back 40 there arose such a clatter,
The Mudgies complained, "Now What's the Matter!".
From outside the window there came a crash,
The Noids were scared and threw CHIPS in the trash..

The moon on the creast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the Trogs light for their Quest down below,
"Bah Humbug!" said Wander his eyes should see,
But a large scooter, and eight tasty reindeer,

With a little old Curmudgeon, doing his job.,
We knew in a moment it must be Geezerbob!.
More rapid than Ex-Lax his helpers they came
Bob yelled, and grumbled, and called them by name:

"Now, Lily! now, Brother! now, Thunder and Jenn!
On, Shoshana! on Marie! on, Ann w.E and Edwin!
To next to the porch! to the top of the wall!"
"You want US up there, You're crazy, we'll fall!"

"As dry leaves burn pollutin' the sky,,
The Question Thread just kept asking, "Why?",
So up to the attic the Members they flew,
With the scooter full of junk, and The Bobster too!

And then, in a wink, Roy heard on the roof
Looking for roadkill to cook. "Where's the proof?".
As Roy drew a knife, and was turning around,
Down the chimney The Bobster groaning with an aching sound.

He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
We thought it was Yogi Bear covered with ashes and soot;
A bundle of used junk he had flung on his back,
we all prayed he'd have no more heart attack!

His eyes -- how they squinted! his dimples how cherry!
His cheeks were like roses, "Why's this Mudgie so merry?"
Our mouths were shut up, amazed as we know,
Wondered how Bob drove through all that thick snow!

The coffee he brewed, we drank with delight
The smoke from the cauldron was a wonderful sight;
He had a broad face and a gut-sized belly,
That his doctor's mis-took for a bowl full of jelly.

We complained not a word, but went straight to our work,
Bureaucrats that we are and wanted more perks,
Pointing his finger straight at our heads.
He exclaimed: "You'all should git back in beds!"

Bob sprang to his scooter, to the roadkill gave a whistle,
Away they flew in the path of Millitant's scud missle!
We all exclaimed, as Bob drove out of sight,
"MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, CHRIST IS BORN TONIGHT!"
