Well last week ended badly for me & I'm not so sure how this week will go. My goals may have to be modified based on how my injuries are healing. I had a solid core door fall on my legs on Saturday. Not good.

But the plan is 2,200 calories S-F with Sat being a free day. Exercise looks like this:
Sun: Running around the laser tag place
Mon: Cardio & weights
Tue: TKD
Wed: Nada
Thu: Boot Camp
Fri: Nada
Sat: Cardio & weights

Well, I woke up and dressed for a run this morning. Then I headed outside and immediately turned around and went back to bed . An hour later the guilt had caught up with me and I went off for what turned out to be a very enjoyably 2.5 hour run on the trails. Tomorrow I have the afternoon/evening off so I expect I will run to work (6-8 hours, depending on trail conditions and chosen path).

Yesterday turned out to be no exercise & 2,250 calories.

My ankle's starting to stiffen up on me, so I'm not sure how much exercise I can even get in. Maybe some light cardio and weights today. We'll see...

I hate that. I try to rotate my feet in clockwise and counter clockwise motions before walking/jogging--it helps, but stiff ankles are the pits.

Hi, everyone. I've been maintaining a 3 mile run every day. My goal for this week is be back in full swing: I plan to run 25 miles, including a 10 mile long run. I ran 3 miles yesterday and today. I'm going to try for the long run tomorrow, weather permitting. It's been too windy here to run outside the past two days, but it's supposed to calm down today.

Managed just under 9 miles today. Doing pretty good in the new year so far.

Thanks Michael. As you know, my weight loss efforts have been a rollercoaster ride. I went to a diabetic counselor. She told me I wasn't eating enough. So she gave me some suggestions and they seem to be working. So far since just before Christmas, I have lost 7 lbs.

Really! That's amazing. I know how you've struggled, as have I, but mine is just due to an unquenchable love of food.

Oh, don't tempt me. Actually, I haven't had a donut in 5 or 6 years. I found it easy to give them up. My weakness is mexican food. I could eat it 3 times a day.

Glad to hear from you guys! I walked about 2 miles today--brisk, but nothing to write home about. My hubby rode his bike a mile further--so did a little over 7 mile round trip. That's good, I told him--because when I did spinning, we would go to about 8-10 miles on harder days, so he's getting there! But, he said he doesn't push the whole time...

Hope everyone has a great and productive week!

There is a Chi CHi's not too far from my house. You could run there and I could walk and the calories we'd eat would be cancelled out.......

chi chi's??? I thought they closed down -- they all closed down in Pittsburgh because people died--remember that whole thing? People literally became deathly ill due to the onions in the salsa...I used to love Chi Chi's--it was such a shame, besides the obvious reasons that people died! I couldn't believe that.
