Default Why not women priests?

My question stems from a very traditional catholic background.
Is it God or Man that has stated,' No women priests." I am not
looking for a debate just a Just Answer. We are a chosen people
a holy priesthood. Well, I remember a nun who stated women could give birth to children so God evened the score by allowing
men to consecrate the host. This answer doesn't suffix for me at
a mature age. Is it God who decided women could not be priests or is it men in the priesthood not allowing women to become priests? Fair enough question. Humility dictates that God may choose whom he will but does the will of man overide a Just God.
Help? Tired of the Injustice and discrimination.

Lynn,

The answer and resources at this link should answer your question more thoroughly than the nun's witty one-liner, amusing though it was. If you have any further questions or concerns that are not answered by this link, please contact Catholic Answers directly.
