Is that the same ice storm that chew had this morning? It sounds nasty.

I didn't even know Chew had a bad one this morning. I didn't go back and read very well.
I think it's part of the same system. We had snow this morning, then it tapered off a bit, now we are expecting sleet and freezing rain this evening, changing to rain late tomorrow morning.
I decided to get home before it became a nightmare event.
And chili does sound good!

So are you home now? Curled up in front of the fireplace?

I made it just in time. It was getting slippery out there.
I have a couple of huge hills I have to come up over to get home and I was calling on every saint and angel I could think of to help me up those hills, I'm sure they're all rolling up in heaven right now, it was quite the spectacle! I was getting very verbal about needing the help right then and there!

I love that about my job, being able to have random conversations with the kids. And I know most of them don't co to any church so hopefully some of those seeds will take root some day.

Thanks!!! There are 4 "recognized" colors of Newfs: Black, Black and White, Bronze and Grey. The Black and Whites are known as Landseers. This is because an english artist by the name of Sir Edwin Landseer painted a painting featuring a black and white newf laying on a dock in England. The painting was called "A Distinguished Member of the the Humane Society"

So if I paint a picture of an animal, can I get it named after me?
