Default Why Is Michelle Malkin No Longer on Fox News?

Someone told me Michelle Malkin was continually out-debating Geraldo Riveria and Kristin Powers on both Hannity & Colmes and The O'Reilly Factor.

I heard Geraldo and Powers were mad about Malkin's debating skills and they teamed up behind the scenes in an effort to get Michelle Malkin fired. I heard it may have been Geraldo who ultimately got Malkin fired.

Does anyone know if this is true?

Boy, I hope not. I wondered why I had not seen her for a while. She's really great. Personally, when Giraldo Rivera comes on I go to another channel. I think Malkin is better than either O'Reilly or Hannity. I hope this report is wrong. Roanoker

From her blog:

Thanks so much for your kind words. Much appreciated. I made the decision to quit appearing on the O’Reilly show in response to the poor handling of the Geraldo Rivera matter (in case you hadn’t heard, he threatened to spit on me because of my views about illegal immigration and his staged “apology” on The Factor was a complete farce). I won’t go into details, but please know that your support means a lot to me. You can catch me on other Fox News shows and read my daily blog posts and weekly columns at MichelleMalkin.com.

I don't even know why Geraldo Rivera is on any channel at all. I don't think that anyone likes him, liberal or conservative. Even when I disagree with Malkin, I find myself at least understanding why she feels as she does. She is very good at expressing herself and she is not as nasty as Ann Coulter.

In defense of Geraldo, he may have become unaccustomed to having anyone listen to what he says.

I guess I haven't paid much attention, but now that I've read this, I agree...and I miss her. She was a smart gal and a bright spot on Fox.

I am still amazed that Geraldo is on that channel because of his mishandling of the war when he was drawing the troop movements in the sand early on.

From the post cited it appears she is only declining to appear on O'Reilly's show, not all Fox programs. While O'Reilly's show is # 1, it's not the only show on Fox. For good or ill, it would appear that the bottom line here is that Geraldo is more important to the channel.

Malkin has been mistreated before. I've stopped watching other programs because she was maligned there. That's too bad.

Well that depends on your point of view, not everyone would agree with you.
I find Olbermann, Matthews, Blitzer, and the rest far away from what i believe.
