New game....

This is a game.

But it is a bit more complicated than the other games on this forum.

This is how it goes.

A 10 people must sign up, or I will work with however many sign up before Thursday , April 17 @ noon EST.

These people will be given different roles: 3 wolves, one doctor, one investigator, and 5 townspeople.

The plot is like this....

An evil werewolf witch casts an evil curse on a town, turning 3 unknown villagers into werewolves. These group together and kill one of the other villagers every night. The curse can only be lifted by the death of the werewolves. The mayor responds by having the townspeople vote one person to die.

A 'day' lasts 12 hrs, from 12 am to 11:59 am, a night lasts from noon till 11:59 pm.
The first 'night', the wolves consort, and determine who they will kill, and in what order. Nothing else happens that night.

Every 'night', the wolves send me a pm, telling me whom they wish to kill. If they are coordinated, they will successfully kill a villager, if not, nothing will happen.
The doctor will pick someone whom he wishes to save. If he does this, and the person he picked was killed, then that person is saved, if not, nothing happens.
The investigator will then ask me to identify a person in the group. He will then divulge this to the rest of the group. If he is killed, he can't do this.

Every 'day' the people role play, taking on roles in the village, (carpenter, priest, crusty old professor) They will then make accusations, and vote on a person to purge from the village. The person with the highest # of votes is kicked out. If there is a tie, the people from 3rd place down will be eliminated from the list of accused persons, and a runoff will occur.

A person failing to vote twice will be removed from the game

The game is Mafia, correct? Or some wolf-like version of mafia, since some of the roles differ (such as Angel=Doctor, and Mafia=wolves.) How do you suggest playing on a forum? I've never heard of doing it that way~

It's been done before (successfully) on another forum. It plays like this -

Each turn, the 2 "werewolves" (in place of the mafia) pm the game starter with their "kills", or the two players that will be out.

The game starter posts who's out, and a clue (usually it's a true statement or a false statement about the person who's the 'werewolf').

Throughout the day (real day, or two - people work, so 12 hours is too short), people post who they think it is. Whoever gets the most votes is out. The cycle continues until both werewolves are out, or the last villagers are out.

But, this seems to be a slightly more complex version of that...

A friend of mine told me how to play this game. We got together with other friends to play it, and we really enjoyed it. HE suggested this way of playing it, on a forum.

So should the time be 24, instead of 12, hours?
