Re: Pregnant Mamas!!!!!!!
Congrats samovila!!! We're on our second as well .
I am so excited to share this...I am in a secular moms group and I had asked about what everyone liked as far as maternity brands, not even mentioning that DH and I are really tight financially. Well, about five ladies from the group have offered to loan me clothes . I'm so excited and just so grateful for their generosity!!! I guess I don't have to spend any more money .

Excellent! And congrats right back at you! A close friend of mine gave me all her maternity clothes with my first baby so I lucked out that way. She also gave me about 4 years of her daughter's clothes for my little one. She is soooo generous. It saves a lot to use hand-me-downs.

Re: Pregnant Mamas!!!!!!!
OK Krista, You asked to see my bump pics when I dropped, I think I've done something... yesterday I woke up and dd bum was near my belly button NOT up under my ribcage as normal... Today was a little higher, but still a lot lower than normal. I did lay my hand under my bra line like you were describing, and though I couldn't spread my fingers as you said you could, I DID HAVE MY WHOLE HAND above the bump!

Today 38weeks 4 days:

Re: Pregnant Mamas!!!!!!!
Woah Shiann!!! I definitely see it! Thanks for the example! I have been wondering for myself if my baby has dropped. It feels heavy between my legs.. the whole bowling ball thing.. but I don't think baby has dropped.
Mylo, nice to hear about your OB update.

Wow, Sina! You're getting so close! I totally know the bowling ball feeling.

Re: Pregnant Mamas!!!!!!!
Shiann,
I definitely agree with all the mommas thus far - you've definitely dropped! How exciting! I didn't drop with Matthew until he was ready to come out, so it's neat to see the physical difference on someone .

Re: Pregnant Mamas!!!!!!!
Wow, Shiann! Thanks for posting the pictures. That's probably the best example I've seen of someone who has dropped... I'm so jealous (in a good, Christian kind of way ) of your progress! I *feel* like I've dropped, with all the extra pressure down there, but I definitely don't look like that!
I did tons of errands today, and bought all the final things that I want for labor and the baby. So, this kid is officially welcome to come at any time!
Lotus - I noticed you said you didn't drop with Matthew till the very end. Is this pretty common with first time babies? Everything I read says you'll drop 2-4 weeks beforehand with your first, and so I'm freaking out and adding on at least 2 weeks to my pregnancy since I haven't noticeably dropped yet. Anyone else with the same experience as Lotus?
Sina - I can't believe you're almost done, too! How have you been feeling? Any major changes to speak of yet?
